Riverside Library is opening just in time for the launch of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge!
Every year, thousands of families all over the country are involved in the UK's biggest reading event for children in libraries.
The challenge is to read six books during the summer holidays and this year’s theme is mischief and pranks inspired by the iconic children’s comic title Beano.
All libraries in Derby will be running the Challenge throughout the summer holidays, but make sure you and the kids come along to the launch at Riverside Library for the chance to take part in Chris White’s interactive poetry and cartoon roadshow!
