The Jungle Book at Derby Theatre - Derby Days Out Blog
20th March 2019

Friday 5 – Saturday 20 April

Tickets from £10

Building on the success of their popular Christmas shows, Derby Theatre are bringing you a very special family treat this Easter. Expect stunning sets and costumes, catchy music from Ivan Stott (composer of Hansel & Gretel, Peter Pan and many other Derby Theatre Christmas shows) and plenty of magic in our spectacular new production of The Jungle Book.

Award-winning writer Neil Duffield’s new adaptation is inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s magical stories, and is brought to life with brand new songs.

Whilst growing up in the jungle and facing battles with the ruthless Shere Khan, Mowgli learns what it truly means to belong, thanks to friends Baloo and Bagheera.

The Jungle Book has fully integrated BSL interpretation and captioning.

We recommend the seats with an "i" symbol on the seating map for the best view of the integrated captioning.
