After such a wonderful day at our first Women Supporting Women Day last year, we absolutely had to do it again this year!
A group of women are coming together to join Kate and Bonnie from Woodland Connections to offer you a variety of activities throughout the day. The focus is on positivity, confidence boosting and empowerment through fun, laughter and connection. The activities are half hour tasters and are open to all, you need no prior experience or skills, just have a go at as many or as few things as you choose without judgement or expectation.
The day will begin at 11am in the woodland car park where you will be warmly welcomed into the woodland. The activities that you are invited to try are: Forest Bathing mini taster walk, helping us to slow down, take notice and connect with nature. Allowing us to let go of the rush of day to day life and invite in feelings of calm and relaxation.
Guided Massage led by Lisa from the Coach House Health and Wellness Centre.
EFT guided by Beth - Occupational Therapist & Complimentary Medical Association Practitioner. EFT is an energy psychology which involves tapping on acupressure points on the body, mainly hands and face.
Reiki group circle crystal experience led by Stacey.
Yoga by Yoga With Corinne. Enjoy a gentle yoga flow amongst nature.
Sound Bath. A wonderful way to complete our relaxing day, lie down and listen as Beth closes our activities with a gentle sound bath.
Before the day ends we will have the opportunity for some quiet reflection amongst the trees and a circle of gratitude to close. Bring along a packed lunch to enjoy as we get the fire going. Please bring your own mug. There will be hot drinks and some delicious cakes included.
