The beautiful Italianate gardens are one of the highlights of a visit to Renishaw Hall. With more than 20 different areas to explore, there's plenty to discover throughout the seasons.
Look out for colourful seasonal planting 🌸, including English native bluebells, hybrid magnolias and oriental poppies. The Orangery is also home to a National Collection of Yuccas, featuring more than 40 species. 🌵
🌳 Lake, Woodlands & Family Fun
Head beyond the gardens to discover Renishaw's lake and surrounding woodlands. 🌲💦
There's also a woodland play area for younger visitors, making Renishaw Hall & Gardens a lovely option for a family day out in Derbyshire. 👨👩👧👦
🏡 Discover Renishaw Hall
Renishaw Hall has been the home of the Sitwell family for generations. The Hall itself remains a lived-in family home, but visitors can discover its fascinating history through guided Hall tours. 📜
Tours offer an insight into the Sitwell family, their magnificent art, family heirlooms and grand portraits.
🍇 Visit the Vineyard
Renishaw has its own historic vineyard, planted by Sir Reresby Sitwell in 1972. 🍇
Selected vineyard tours take place during the summer and include the opportunity to discover more about the vineyard and taste the wine.
☕ Café, Cake & Afternoon Tea
After exploring the gardens, why not stop for something to eat at the award-winning Café at Renishaw Hall? ☕
Located in the Stables Courtyard, the café serves breakfast, lunches, light bites and Afternoon Tea. 🍰

🌿 Gardens: Wednesday–Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays, 10.30am–4.30pm during the open season.
☕ Café: Wednesday–Sunday, 9am–4.30pm from March–October.
🏡 Guided Hall Tours: Fridays at 12.30pm and 2pm during the open season.
🚗 Free parking available
Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
