Wirksworth Heritage Centre is a venue for all ages! Its museum celebrates the history of the town, including its traditional industries, local trades, customs, famous characters and the lives of ordinary Wirksworth people through the generations. The Centre also has its own purpose-built Studio room. From Stay and Play to themed arts & craft workshops and storytelling sessions – including many at the weekend – there’s lots to choose from. The centre also offers workshops and evening events in the studio and Webster's Cafe, as well as walks, talks and tours around the town.
