Wake up! A spell is about to be cast over Derby Arena (Derbion Castle) this Christmas, and it’s not to be missed!
After an extra year’s sleep, Derby’s fantastic panto, Sleeping Beauty is returning to Derby Arena between Friday 10th December and Saturday 8th January. The cast includes Derby panto favourite Morgan Brind as the doting Dame, and EastEnders’s icon Rita Simons as the wickedly glamorous Carabosse.

Join Nurse Nancy, a rather sleepy Princess Rose, handsome Prince Vince and friends in their spellbinding adventure as Carabosse sets out to put a spindle in the works after not being invited to the royal family’s christening celebrations – awkward!
When Princess Rose falls into a deep slumber thanks to Carabosse’s wicked tricks, it’s down to the dashing Prince Vince to hack his way through the thorny thicket to wake his one true love and help her save the kingdom. With daring duels and doting dragons along the way it was never going to be easy!
The production boasts lavish sets and extravagant costumes, promising bucket loads of laughs, direct from the team behind smash hits - Jack and the Beanstalk and Peter Pan. The team are back to lift the spell over Derby with this magical new pantomime at Derby Arena.
