The Darley Park Weekender returns once again this year and it's bigger and better than ever! The weekend kicks off on Friday 25th August with the new for 2023 Ultimate 90s event! It will feature performances from Peter Andre, East 17, Liberty X and Five, plus DJ Mark Angels on the decks and is hosted by Radio Derby's own, Ian Skye.
Saturday sees the return of the 80s mix tape with legend Martin Kemp hitting the decks in the closing DJ set. Hosted by Sally Pepper, the evening is a celebration of everything 80s with ABC and Hue and Cry on the bill. Tribute act 80s Reunion will also recreate some of the very best chart-topping hits from legendary acts including Duran Duran, The Human League, Madonna, Eurythmics and more. The weekend will be brought to a close with the legendary classical open-air Darley Park Concert! Sinfonia Viva will captivate the audience once again with their orchestral delights featuring classical and more modern scores and at approximately 9.15pm, fireworks will end the weekend with a bang!

Tickets are available until the day before each event on the Derby LIVE website or at the Sales and Information Centre, Guildhall Theatre, Market Place, Derby, DE1 3AE, or by calling 01332 255 800. Subject to availability, tickets will be available to buy on the day of each event, at the park.
Tickets for Ultimate 90s or 80s Mix Tape tickets are £25 per adult – book for both at the same time and save £5 – or £28 on the day. Tickets are £15 for children aged 5-16, with under 5s going free. Tickets for The Darley Park Concert are £6.50 per adult and £4 for under 16s. Buy on the day prices are £9 per adult and £4 for under-16s.

Ultimate 90s: gates open at 4pm and the last act begins at approximately 9:50pm
80s Mixed Tape: gates open at 4pm and the last act begins at approximately 9:15pm
The Darley Park Concert: gates open at 2pm and ends at 9.30pm
Key information:
- Parking: Parking nearby is limited so public transport is recommended.
- Location and accessibility: The event has been moved this year towards the Derby Rowing Club end of Darley Park, making the event more accessible and enhance the audience's experience
- Alcohol and refreshments: A personal allowance of four cans of larger/beer/mixed spirits/cider and 750ml of wine has been introduced this year – and the entire weekend will be glass free. There will be an increased number of refreshment outlets this year serving alcoholic and non-alcholholic beverages, as well food outlets offering a choice of delicious refreshments, including gourmet burgers, noodles, wood-fired pizzas, Mediterranean kebabs, churros, coffee and ice cream.
- Children's entertainment: A 'sparkle station' will offer face painting and hair braiding, while the Glitter Bar with festival face glitter. There will also be an inflatable penalty shoot out and a bouncy castle.
