WIN AN ADVENTURE-FILLED FAMILY DAY OUT TO TWYCROSS ZOO THIS SUMMER
Families looking for the ultimate day out over the summer holidays can prepare for a summer of adventure at Twycross Zoo and experience amazing every day.
Not only will visitors be able to discover more than 500 animals from some of the rarest species on the planet, families can also enjoy a brand-new 15m-long, sandy beach* - the perfect place to make sandcastles and take part in fun games hosted by Twycross Zoo’s very own rangers. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for giant deckchairs located around the zoo to take a summer-time selfie with the whole family.
Twycross Zoo will also welcome a special guest this summer – an Island Princess* who has journeyed far and wide to save the world’s oceans. Her fun-filled show features songs and activities, all hosted outside on an open-air stage. Throughout the performance, children will learn top tips to put into action to help protect the natural world and the other species with whom we share our planet.
What’s more, Twycross Zoo’s Wet ‘n’ Wild* play area is set to reopen for visitors to enjoy during the hot weather. Children can splash like a penguin as they enjoy this wonderful water experience, with Covid-19 safety measures in place.
Don’t forget to also stop by the Plastic Pollution Station and speak to the zoo’s award-winning discovery and learning team, to discover more about the importance of recycling and the impact of over-fishing on the fragile eco-systems within our planet’s oceans.
Families will be able to experience amazing at every turn by hand-feeding the lorikeets, walking with lemurs, hearing the gibbons sing and seeing them swing in their impressive habitat, walking through the awesome tiger tunnel, feeding the giraffes*, running wild in the outdoor play areas and indoor soft play, plus so much more.

1. The competition will be open from 00:00 on 22/07/21 until 00.00 05/08/21.
2. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
3. One winner will win tickets for two adults and two children under the age of 17 only, which can be redeemed for entry to Twycross Zoo only.
4. The prize tickets to Twycross Zoo are valid until 30/09/2021.
5. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included, and the winner will be required to make their own travel arrangements to and from Twycross Zoo, Burton Rd, Atherstone, CV9 3PX.
6. The winner will be picked at random and notified via email on 06/08/21.
7. Contact information will be supplied to a third party who will be in touch via email to arrange for the winner’s tickets to be ready and available for collection on-site. Each winner must pre-book a date and arrival timeslot in advance of their day of visit.
