At Derby Theatre we have opportunities for young people to develop skills and confidence, not only in performance but also in back stage areas like technical theatre, leadership, events management and writing for theatre.
If you are aged between 8 and 18 and want the opportunity to work with professional theatre practitioners and perform on stage every year, apply today!
We work towards a major annual show that is professionally produced on our main stage for our two older groups and in our studio theatre for the two younger groups.
Years 4-6: Tuesdays or Thursdays 5pm - 6.30pm
Years 7-9: Sundays 10am – 11.30am or 12pm - 1:30pm
Years 10-13/Further Education: Fridays 6.00-8.00pm and Sundays 2pm - 4pm
