The theme this year is ‘PIRATES‘!
Entry is by ticket. Advance purchased tickets are discounted. Online tickets are discounted compared to cash sales. Online advance tickets are £3.80. Online tickets on Carnival Day are £4.40 (Free entry for people in full fancy dress in the procession and for children of primary school age or younger).
Down on Eyes Meadow there is eight hours of enjoyment and entertainment waiting for you along with friends and family. There are Circus Skills to participate in and the biggest bubbles you have seen from the Bubbleman, or you could have a go at archery and football. There will be a good selection of stalls to interest you (and not just a string of tombolas) with local Groups like the Scouts & Guides providing activities for you to try. Bring your “best friend” along and enter them in the Dog Show.
If you want to just sit and watch, this year's star attraction in the Main Arena will be 'The Little Nippers' and a falconry display… Vision Dance will be displaying their grace and rhythm. Village games, including the Tug of War competition and the annual “Egg Catching” competition.
Elsewhere on the Meadow there will be displays of classic cars, motorbikes and vintage tractors. Ever been in a Hovercraft, No? then take a ride with Axceler -8 hovercrafts. More conventional rides will be on offer from the fairground..
The Duffield Singers will be performing in the marquee during the afternoon - don't miss them! There will be drumming workshops facilitated by Belper Boom at the railway end of the site

Want stuffing? The Tipsy Trotter will be on the field serving up Pulled Pork rolls, sauce n’ stuffing.
Tollgate Brewery Bar will be pleased to serve you Beers and Lagers, Prosecco and Gin, plus soft drinks for all. We hope there will also be a specialist Gin & Spirits Bar tbc.

The music starts at c. 5.15 pm with the talented Sugar Tree and Another band tbc providing cool tunes and vocals. Headlining this year at around about 7.15 is Paradox.
