Join us at Shining Cliff hostel and have a go at making your own Winter Wreath using locally sourced materials. Our focus is on using materials that have a low carbon footprint and ensuring we harvest materials sustainably. There will be no plastic or metal in sight! Feel free to bring along any materials that you would like to add to your wreath, but keep it natural!
We provide a supportive, welcoming environment, where 'having a go' is far more important than what we produce. But from past experience at these sessions, everyone leaves with something to be proud of!
There will be complimentary hot drinks and cakes available throughout the session. We begin at 12:30am at the private woodland car park, where we will be waiting to meet you. (Directions and parking information will be included with your booking confirmation email.)
We will then take a wander through the woods to the hostel, stopping to harvest your own hazel sticks to make the wreath bases with (thanks to the landowner for permission to do this).
We then continue our wander to Shining Cliff hostel, where an array of natural resources to make our wreaths will be set out in the communal lounge. We can then chat, have hot drinks, and create our very own Winter Wreaths.
