Tissington Craft Fair is a thoughtfully curated traditional artisan market where the focus is solely on handmade products and original artwork, giving each maker a chance to shine. The high standard of handmade products you will find on each of our 12 stalls is guaranteed to exceed your expectations of a smaller market whilst the friendly, yet relaxed atmosphere will allow you to browse at your own pace.
Lovers of handmade products can enjoy chatting directly with each maker to learn more about their inspiration, creative process and any bespoke options available.
Steeped in history, Tissington Village is located just 3.5 miles from the popular market town of Ashbourne in the Derbyshire Peak District. The Tissington estate has been privately owned by the FitzHerbert family since the 1460’s and we feel privileged to hold our markets in such a special and unique location. Each artisan market takes place in Tissington Village Hall, which is located opposite the village pond.
You will find our artisan markets here regularly between April and October. The historic building benefits from a wi-fi connection and means that many of our stallholders can easily accept card payments helping you shop with ease. There is free entry for visitors to all of our craft fairs and dogs are more than welcome to meet our makers too! Although there are steps up to the main entrance, alternative access is available for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility upon request. Disabled toilet facilities are also available.
