Formed 26 years ago, R. Cajun is Britain’s most widely known Cajun band. They have played a major role in creating interest in Cajun music across the country and are commonly acknowledged as the pioneering force inspiring many other bands to embrace this exciting genre.
R. Cajun can rightfully claim to be Britain’s key link to Louisiana, leading the Cajun and Zydeco music scene. Since the early 1980s, they have built an enviable reputation as not only Britain’s number one Cajun band but also a major draw by any standard.
