LIVE WIRES is a dynamic new program from Derby LIVE, Ancestories, and The Lost Boys, offering weekly arts and theatre workshops for ages 16s to 17s.
Each session is led by experienced professionals, focusing on both creative and technical skills—acting, directing, stage design, lighting, sound, and more. Participants receive hands-on training and mentorship, ensuring everyone can develop their talents, regardless of experience.
The journey doesn’t stop at workshops. LIVE WIRES culminates in exciting live performance opportunities, including a major outdoor production at Markeaton Park in the first year. You’ll gain real-world theatre experience, build confidence, and connect with a supportive network of peers and industry experts.
