The documentary delves into the origins of Thomas the Tank Engine, its global impact and the passionate community of fans that have grown around it.
Following the screening, director Brannon Carty will be joined be the film’s producers, Ahmad Akfa, Joshua Hood and Nicholas Maniscalco, along with co-producer James Garder, for a Q&A to delve into the making of the film.
Tickets to An Unlikely Fandom are available to purchase only by existing ticketholders of The Greatest Gathering on Saturday 2 August only.
The Greatest Gathering event will close at 4pm, at which time you will be requested to head to the Mobility Theatre to take your seats for An Unlikely Fandom.
